Client’s Need:
Reader’s Digest wanted to do a special Christmas promotion to attract new subscribers.
Buzzplant’s Solution:
We proposed The Spirit of Christmas contest and built out a site at http://givereadersdigest.com/
The site allowed people to write in and submit a short essay about what the spirit of Christmas meant to them. Prize was $1000.00 and a chance for the article to appear in the magazine.
Buzzplant promoted the contest through various lists, social media, and viral methods. Results were thousands of new subscribers and entrants.
