Client’s Need:

Help reach potential viewers, particularly families, about the NBC TV premiere of The Secrets of the Mountain and the movie’s immediate DVD release. Buzzplant was asked to help using their email database and using Facebook & Twitter.

Buzzplant Solution:

Buzzplant secured at least 499,547 impressions for Secrets of the Mountain using our email database and a special promotion that utilized Twitter and Facebook. Using our creative strategies that included an iPad giveaway, we were able to build the Facebook page from 0 “likes” to over 1200 likes in one week.

Buzzplant also asked people to talk about Secrets of the Mountain on Twitter and provided ways they could be registered for the iPad giveaway through Twitter. Based on a search for “Secrets of the Mountain” and the hashtag Buzzplant provided, “#SOTM,” the estimated exposure via tweets for the week of the Buzzplant contest was 273,255 impressions. In addition, approximately 137,472 people were reached via these tweets.

Finaly, other efforts by Buzzplant on behalf of Secrets of the Mountain helped reached thousands more through the use of personal blogs, a tell-a-friend tool, YouTube and more.
